Aluminium FlexBeam

Aluminium FlexBeam

Rapid assembly and optimal use of materials make the Aluminium FlexBeam a cost-effective scaffolding solution. With a higher load capacity for larger suspension configurations, our Aluminium Flexbeam saves time and minimises drilling, assembly, and dismantling. Its integrated system allows easy assembly with standard All-round components, and it includes an anchor plate and suspension shoe for securing the beam to structures like bridge undersides or sloping surfaces.

Compared to the Steel Lattice Beam 450, the FlexBeam:

  • has up to 2.5 times higher bending load
  • has up to 7 times higher shear load capacity
  • is 17 cm lower in structural height, preserving headroom on motorways
  • typically requires no compression chord bracing
  • features U-system decks that can be directly hooked into the U-section

Allround Bridging system

The Allround Bridging System is the perfect addition to Layher Allround Scaffolding. With only a few extra components, it offers solutions for wide-span footbridges and bracing structures for heavy loads.

  • Bridging of spans up to around 30 m wide.
  • Can be assembled with all Layher system decks (depending on required load).
  • Length flexible in the standard dimension of 2.07 m or 2.57 m.
  • Pedestrians can be kept safe by means of cladding and roofing using the Protect System.
  • Rapid assembly thanks to bolt-free pin and wedge head connections.
  • Strengthening of scaffolding, platforms and roofs.
  • Pre-assembly on the ground and effortless positioning by crane are possible.

The Allround FW System

With just three additional components to Allround Scaffolding, there is now an even better and even more economical solution for bridging and bracing applications: the Allround FW System. Integrating seamlessly into Allround structures, the Allround FW System can be used for a variety of applications, including platforms, cantilevered beams, and roof constructions for temporary weather protection.

  • High load-bearing capacity owing to the structural height and steel material.
  • Limitless applications as platform, cantilevered beam and by extension with a few components for roof constructions.
  • Easy handling by low weight of max. 19 kg.
  • Seamless integration into Allround structures. The components are located on the system axes in all three directions.

Shoring TG 60

The Shoring Frame TG 60 was designed especially for constructing shoring structures. Centred on the TG 60 shoring frames with integrated rosettes, all frames are symmetrical so that no diagonal bracing has to be taken into account during assembly.

  • can transmit loads of up to 6 t per standard.
  • Structural analysis conforms to DIN EN 12812.
  • Can be assembled section by section on the ground and then positioned rapidly by crane, thanks to its high fitting precision.
  • Safe upright assembly due to integrated advancing side protection.
  • More than 30 % time saving during assembly and dismantling when compared with structures made of individual components.
  • Unrestricted integration into Layher Allround Scaffolding.
  • Bay lengths of the shoring towers can be variably adapted to the standard dimension of the formwork supports or to the load.
  • The easy attachment of castors enables towers or even entire tower groups to be repositioned in a time-saving manner without having to dismantle and then reassemble them.

The Allround Modular Stairtower

Quick to assemble, safe to use: The Allround Modular Stairtower ensures efficient site access.
Not only can it be pre-assembled on the ground in part-modules and then moved by crane, but it also provides a convenient height clearance thanks to the use of the Allround initial standard LW 2.21 m.

  • The type approval covers assembly heights of up to about 115 m.
  • Exit is possible at the side or the ends.
  • Same step height – at transition too.
  • Safe and easy pre-assembly of complete stairway modules on the ground, without personal safety apparatus for fall protection and without advance guardrail.
  • More convenient stairway ascent with parallel or alternating stairway configuration.
  • No joint-overlapping components.

In addition to the Allround Modular stairtower, Layher offers a wide range of stairway towers, for example:
the Allround construction stairway tower 200.

  • the platform stairway in Allround Scaffolding.
  • the unfinished-building stairway tower.
  • the landing-type stairway tower.
  • the stairway tower 750.
  • the stairway tower 500.

The Twixbeam In Shoring Construction

The high-strength, multifunctional aluminium TwixBeam from Layher – consisting of two bolted aluminium U-sections with a height of 200 mm – has a wide range of possible uses, both in shoring construction and in scaffolding construction. The TwixBeam is available in lengths from 0.80 m to 6.60 m. The beam is characterised by high load-bearing capacity yet low weight..

Discover the benefits of our TWIXBEAM:

  • Cost reduction from optimisation of the shoring structure, due to considerably higher bending and shear load capacities when compared with H-20 beams: less material plus shorter assembly and dismantling times saves on costs.
  • System main beam matching Shoring TG 60 for all bay lengths: Planning and design work for beam joints, edge adjustments and expensive cutting to size are no longer needed.
  • Usable as a genuine continuous beam: transmission of tensile and compressive forces plus bending moments.
  • Easy angle adjustment using swivelling spindle.
  • Easy assembly and easy striking thanks to lightweight individual components – even without a crane.
  • Weather-resistant and more durable in comparison with wooden beams.

Deck Options

Layher has the right scaffolding deck for any application

The Steel Deck LW

The steel deck LW

Through rigorous testing and design improvements, we have reduced the weight of the steel deck by up to 10 % – all while retaining a high load-bearing capacity. This makes our steel deck not only lighter, but easier to handle and transport. Discover the benefits that the steel deck LW from Layher has to offer:

  • Available in lengths between 0.73 m and 4.14 m.
  • Available in widths between 0.19 m and 0.32 m.
Rails with edge holes for steel tubes.
  • Can be used up to load class 6 (depending on deck length) and in standard and roof brick guards.
  • Optimised steel cap and new longitudinal profile allow for better grip, ensuring more ergonomic handling and greater safety.
  • Strong feeling of safety when walking on the decks thanks to transverse reinforcements in the surface.
  • A 10% reduction in weight while retaining a high load-bearing capacity – meaning lower labour costs, an increase in truck capacity and improved ergonomics.
  • Can be combined with steel decks of previous generations during assembly and transport.

Transition Deck

Steel gap sheet
The steel gap sheet is used to cover a gap of up to 20 cm between two scaffolding decks, both in Allround and in SpeedyScaf.

Gap ledger
Gap ledgers are available in various lengths for gap-free work surfaces between the main scaffolding decks and the bracket decks.

Telescopic gap deck
The standard requires that the gap between decks should not exceed 25 mm. Depending on bay width and deck laying variants with differing deck widths (0.61 m, 0.32 m and 0.19 m), compliance with the 25 mm gap width requirement is not always possible. This is why a deck was designed to adapt infinitely to all possible gap dimensions that might occur. It allows gaps from 40–255 mm to be closed conveniently.

  • Rapid assembly.
  • No additional fitting of gap covers required.
  • Gap-free and closed surface with infinite adjustments.
  • Same load classes as in the steel decks.
  • Decks can be fixed in place – no more slipping.
