Aluminum Ladders

Layher aluminium ladders provide strength and durability at low weight and are used in all trades – as a location for light work or to provide access to high locations. Slip-proof ladder feet, grooved rungs and low weight ensure safety and ergonomic work conditions.

Wooden Ladders

Wooden ladders are durable and cost-effective, ideal for low-height tasks where weight is not a critical factor. They are the preferred choice when you want to avoid aluminium abrasion on your hands. Painters and drywall builders, in particular, favour wooden ladders.

Steps and rungs are made from high-strength, sealed extruded profiles and are press-fitted into the spars at four points for high lateral stability. Triangular steps prevent rotation, and ribbed treads ensure surefootedness.
Plastic-sheathed steel hinges with secure screw fittings provide a long service life.
The wooden ladder profile supports high loads while remaining lightweight. Beads along the outer wall prevent damage when handling.
Step pressed fittings increase contact surface with the inner wall, allowing greater mechanical load transfer.
Additional stiffeners at the upright ends exceed DIN EN 131 standards.
Tear-proof polyester straps handle loads up to 3 kN.

Multifunctional Ladders

Our 3-Part All-Purpose Ladder is available in various versions for standing heights from 1.30 to 9.20 metres, offering maximum flexibility with excellent workmanship.

It is capable of functioning as an extension ladder, simple ladder, double ladder, or extendible double ladder, thanks to special joints. Features include a cross-piece for secure free standing, aluminium stiffeners with push button locking, manual rung-by-rung height adjustment with engaging hooks, and a securing mechanism to prevent lifting or sliding. All versions are easy to handle and can be optionally equipped with rubber-lined rollers to prevent wall damage.

Aluminium All Purpose Boxes

Sturdy transport containers made from 1-mm thick aluminium sheets are lightweight, strong, and non-deformable due to all-round beading and moulded corner reinforcements. They feature a robust hinged lid with limiting straps to prevent the hinges from ripping out. Four nylon/polyester stacking corners make these containers ideal for stacking on EURO pallets. The safety handles are spring-loaded and rubber-coated for convenient transport. The contents are secured by sturdy lever-action clamps, which have holes for a padlock and can be fitted with cylinder locks. An all-round rubber seal inside the box protects the contents from dust, dirt, and splashing water. These containers are resistant to corrosion, weather, and temperature changes.

Stairways

Aluminium Stairway 112 with platform as per DIN EN 131.

This stairway can be securely fixed to buildings for use as an emergency exit or to machines for raised work areas.

Constructed with a special stile made from robust aluminium sections, the steps feature a grooved profile for secure footing. The handrail, made from 30 mm diameter round tubing, is connected using cast aluminium connectors and attaches with angular mounting sections at the top and bottom.
